Frequently asked questions
Is the Comfort Base easy to set up?
Yes. The Comfort Base is simple to set up and can usually be assembled by two people in about 15 minutes. Full instructions are in the Comfort Base user’s manual, and white glove delivery is included if you’d rather we did it.
Does the base come with a wireless remote?
Yes. The Twin XL, Full, and Queen bases come with one remote, and the Split-King comes with two — one for each side, so each half adjusts independently.
What is a Split-King?
A Split-King comes as two pieces rather than one, with each piece being the size of a Twin XL. The two halves can be adjusted independently, or connected for synchronized adjustment.
Can I use a regular King mattress on a Split-King frame?
Yes — the two bases can be connected for synchronized adjustments. However, a standard King mattress will not support independent adjustment on each side; for that you need two Twin XL mattresses.
Can I use any mattress on the cariloha.livefort Base?
Any memory foam mattress will work great with our Comfort Base, but we recommend a Cariloha bamboo mattress for the best night’s sleep.
Do I need a specific bed frame?
No. Our Comfort Base fits easily inside most existing bed frames, and it can also stand on its own legs with no frame at all.
Is my Comfort Base returnable?
Adjustable bases are covered by warranty rather than the 100-night trial. During the first year, Cariloha will repair or replace, at no cost to the original purchaser, any unexpected manufacturer defects — including authorized labor and transportation. Other than manufacturing defects, there are no returns or exchanges on adjustable bases. Orders in unopened boxes may be returned with a 20% restocking fee and shipping at the customer’s expense; opened and used bases are not part of the 100-Night Satisfaction Warranty.
